The future of broadcasting: Part 1 – IPTV
By the way, have you heard of mippin.com? It's a service that mobilizes websites (or a blog) - they also use QR code technology. I met someone from their team at a mobile conference a few weeks ago and told them to get in touch with you ;)
You can link all kind of content there (vCard, Blog, Twitter Profile, Media,...) and print it direclty from there on shirts etc. There is also a real convenient Code-Management if you have a user (click-counts, content change, etc)
When it comes to downloading a reader, there it http://load.snappr.net which you can visit with your mobile phone and it will provide you with a selection of readers which should work with your device. Of course the reader-implementation by the carriers/device manufacturers has to happen in order to get 2D Codes really, really mainstream but on a lot of phones installing a reader is pretty straight forward and allows an easy way for integration!
I hope QR Codes are going to be as widely used in Canada and the US as they are in Asia and Europe! The technology is awesome and applied in the right way, it is the best way to connect offline-media with online and mobile content!
Check it out at http://insqribe.com and let me know what you think!
Have an awesome day!
Danny
