I like their  design though. I have to agree, i love the google model, and have blogged about ad words. Having spent some time using a friends GPS system last week, i think a mash up of Taptu and Google is the future... maybe an air miles type system, every time you post a comment on a local store you get a point to be used as currency (somewhere?).
